Financial Accounting

Basic knowledge about financial accounting is a must for any manager, regardless of the level or his/her functional area of business. This course provides you the ability to understand the financial statements and how your activities and results impact the financial performance of the company.

By the end of this module, students will:

• Gain a broad understanding of the financial statements and its components
• Be familiar with the main elements of the financial statements and different choices that may impact their values and recognition in the accounting books
• Be able to assess the financial performance of a company based on its financial reports 
• Understand how different choices made by the company may influence its financial statements and performance
